Description

You're invited to the Annual Back-to-School Family Barbecue on Friday, September 7, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Help us kick off the new school year with a fun-filled barbecue, featuring delicious food, music, games and activities for the whole family!

Register today.

We'll have activities for students in each division available after school, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., to make it as easy as possible to attend the biggest social event of the school year. In order to ensure proper supervision of Lower and Middle School students, you will be asked to indicate your child's dismissal option during the event registration process.

Dismissal Options:

Lower School
Students in the Early Childhood Program through Grade 4
may stay after school for a snack in their classrooms before going to the Muller Auditorium to watch a show on the big screen. Students should be picked up from the Muller Auditorium between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. to attend the Barbecue with their family.

Students who regularly are enrolled in Extended Day will attend the movie before returning to the Extended Day room, where they will remain until they are picked up by an adult no later than 6 p.m to attend the Barbecue with their family.

Middle School
Students in Grades 5 through 8 may stay after school for a snack followed by a choice of activities, which include:

  • Relaxing with friends in a supervised classroom
  • Watching an athletic competition out on the fields
  • Playing board games

At 4:30 p.m., all Middle School students on campus will report to the Barbecue.

Upper School
Students in Grades 9 through 12 are invited to stay after school for a snack and to:

  • Cheer on their classmates in multiple athletic competitions
  • Help supervise students in Lower School, who will be watching a movie
  • Play indoor games with Middle School students
  • Get an early start on their homework

Please note that all athletic practices will run as normally scheduled.
